In April 2024, the EMERALD Project officially launched as a Core-to-Core project of JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science).
This project aims to innovate quantum emergent electronics based on organic molecules and will be carried out through international research collaboration.
The EMERALD Project focuses on the development of next-generation devices utilizing quantum emergent phases, involving research institutions from multiple countries, including Japan. In the project's initial phase, researchers held detailed discussions on early plans and implementation methods, reaching agreements on future research challenges and goals.
During the kick-off, participants shared the latest technologies and research findings in organic quantum electronics and engaged in discussions to strengthen future collaboration. There is great anticipation for new pathways in the development and application of next-generation technologies through international joint research.
Updates on the progress of the EMERALD Project will be regularly provided on the official website and news section. Stay tuned for future achievements!
